Our Company

From humble beginnings…we started out with little more than the enthusiasm and vision of our founding partners. Our very first project was the construction of Pete’s Frootique in Sunnyside Mall in 1997. Owner Pete Luckett’s choice of rcs as his general contractor helped put us on the map and our relationship with Pete’s continues to this day. Other superior client relationships followed, giving us the industry exposure needed to crack the local construction market and to help us flourish. Showcase projects like the first Moxie’s in Atlantic Canada, new concept McDonald’s restaurants and our largest award to date with the Halifax Seaport Farmers’ Market help to distinguish us from our competition. We now complete work throughout the Atlantic Provinces from our head office in Bedford, Nova Scotia and our regional office in Moncton, New Brunswick. We have been recognized with several business awards. Co-Owners Doug Doucet and Bruce Mollins were nominated for Atlantic Business Magazine’s 2009 and 2007 Top 50 CEO Awards. rcs was also a finalist in the 51-100 employees category in the 2009 Maritime Business Ethics Awards and a Silver Award winner at the 2007 Halifax Business Awards…we’ve come a long way!
